Yannick Hofmann
Andrew Singer has worked at PharmaSphere since 2012 in a variety of roles, most recently serving as QA Director. In addition to other roles and responsibilities, Andrew has been PharmaSphere’s implementation lead on global initiatives related to The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and pharmaceutical traceability more generally since prior to the law’s passage in November 2013.
Andrew led PharmaSphere’s effort to design, qualify, and implement an automated serialized packaging line at its manufacturing site in Syracuse, NY.
Steve Rolland
He specialises in integrating factory floor technologies with MES systems and beyond, leveraging a range of technologies such as OPC, SQL, and REST. As the leader of a team of subject matter experts in Vision and Automation Systems, he supports critical technologies essential to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
His team provides global support, ensuring manufacturing sites have the capability to manage their systems while offering expert assistance when needed. They oversee SEA Vision OCV systems for Serialisation, Siemens Real-Time Location Systems, and Copa-Data zenon SCADA—ensuring seamless communication with enterprise systems and rapid recovery in case of failure.
His experience includes programming and managing PLCs and DCSs in both Primary and Secondary Pharmaceutical processes, as well as validating those systems.
David Attisano
David Attisano is a mechanical engineer specializing in data analysis and technologies applied to the motorcycle industry. After earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001, he completed a Master’s in Vehicle Engineering in 2002. His professional career began with a brief experience at the FIAT Group, but in 2004 he joined Ducati Corse—the racing division of the renowned motorcycle manufacturer—as a Data Analyst and Engine Control Engineer.
In 2011, he was promoted to Head of Vehicle and Engine Control Development, and in 2014 he took charge of a newly formed team dedicated to Data and Performance Analysis, with the goal of optimizing motorcycle performance through data collected during tests and races. Since 2018, he has also collaborated with the Research & Development department of Ducati Motor Holding, for the transfer of know-how and technologies developed by Ducati Corse to the Ducati’s product line.
Currently, Attisano serves as Head of Data Analysis for both the Racing Division and the R&D department, where he also explores the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to support system modeling and drive product development decisions. He is the author of scientific publications on topics such as Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Predictive Analysis.
Yves Steffen
Ger Neeson is Program Lead for Formulation and Supply Chain at Astellas Kerry. With over 30 years of experience across the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, he brings deep expertise in aseptic filling, automated visual inspection, and biologics packaging. Ger began his career with the Silicon Valley Group (later ASML), spending 15 years at Intel Ireland before joining Astellas, where he has led major projects from installation to full-scale production.

Ileana Brega
Ileana Brega is QA Validation Coordinator at SEA Vision, where she leads validation activities for customer projects, ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP standards. She ensures that validation strategies are fully aligned with regulatory requirements.
Previously, she managed the Documentation Department, gaining in-depth expertise in pharmaceutical technical documentation, validation, and regulatory frameworks. Her strong background makes her a key voice in industry discussions on quality validation procedures and compliance.
Susanna Marcandalli
Susanna Marcandalli is PM Coordinator in SEA Vision, supporting the Project Management Director in leading cross-functional teams and aligning project plans with customer’s objectives.
She brings extensive experience in managing international deployment projects for pharmaceutical serialization and traceability systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and also managing integration of third-party solutions. Her comprehensive project knowledge and deep industry insight make her a valuable contributor to strategic discussions about project management.
Carlo Balduzzi
Carlo Balduzzi is Service Team Manager at SEA Vision, where he leads a global support team of technicians operating 24/7 across offices in Europe, Asia, USA, and other key regions. He drives performance through SLA-based KPIs and implements strategic initiatives to enhance customer support.
With over a decade of experience at SEA Vision, Carlo has also worked as Training Manager and as aftersales engineer: this background gives Carlo a combination of technical depth, operational leadership, and international service expertise— key factors behind SEA Vision’s high standards in customer support.
Andrea Santarosa
Andrea Santarosa is Training Engineer Manager at SEA Vision, where he designs, manages, and delivers technical training programs for internal staff, international branches, and clients. His sessions are conducted both remotely and on-site, including classroom practical training on real pharma production lines environment.
Previously, Andrea worked as a Field Engineer, specializing in the installation and validation of pharmaceutical inspection and serialization systems. On this panel, Andrea offers insights into how targeted training programs can improve operational excellence in pharma.
Paolo Marangolo
In this session, Paolo joins the Training Services team as a co-speaker, sharing insights about internal and external training.
Luca Fiorina
Over more than a decade at SEA Vision, Luca has held roles across engineering and product development bringing a hands-on mindset to every challenge, gaining deep product knowledge
